Marie Estorge has published two memoirs under the name Marie Etienne, Storkbites: A Memoir and Confessions of a Bi-Polar Mardi Gras Queen. Marie is a member of the Squaw Valley Community of Writers. Her essays have appeared in numerous publications including the San Francisco Chronicle, East Bay Times, and Diablo Magazine.
She is also the author of the novel, In the Middle of Otherwise (Alluvium Books, 2020), and memoir, Operation Sunflower.
Marie is an avid reader, springboard diver, and craftsperson. Her handmade wire baskets have been featured In Diablo Magazine. Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Marie lives in Northern California with her two sons.
